Actor Rahul Roy, who shot fame with Aashiqui (1990) before his career tapered off, has entered politics by joining the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The actor, who shot to fame in the 1990s, was officially inducted into the party at a conference today in Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Roy told reporters, "Significant day for me today. The way Narendra Modi ji, Amit Shah ji have been taking the country forward, also in changing the view how the world looks at India now, is remarkable.”
