Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan has turned 6 today. On the eve of her birthday, he posted a heartfelt wish for her on his Twitter page. Aaradhya is the daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Amitabh shared a recent picture of the girl in which she is seen holding a huge poster that has an image of herself as an infant. He captioned it, “T 2712 - When she will remind us how much she has grown .. Aaradhya on her 6th .. !!”
As expected, the post went viral with a large number of the star's followers chipping in with their wishes.
Amitabh also wrote a blog post on the occasion which read, "The eve of the birth of the little one .. the blessing of her in our home and in our presence .. and to be in celebration for her 6th .. When she shall tell us how much she has grown .. its actually 6 years but its 60 for most of us .. !!! hahahaa .. !! Her presence makes the happiness in our home and in the environ she presents herself in .. as ever .. bright and sprightly and one of maturity beyond .. And the love of them that gave her to us .. And for the Ef that have so generously designed her greetings for the social .. my personal gratitude and appreciation ..[sic]"
It was Amitabh who broke the news of Aishwarya's pregnancy in June 2011. The news spread like wild fire and the kid started trending much before coming into the world.
