Actresses Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma forged a friendship while shooting for the untitled biopic of Sanjay Dutt. Sonam went ahead and gifted Sharma apparel from Rheson, her clothing line with sister Rhea Kapoor.

Sharma gleefully accepted the gift, thanking the Kapoor sisters on Twitter.

Sonam added a personal touch by writing a letter to Sharma to go along with the gift.

Dear Anushka,
I admire that you celebrate your womanhood and feminity. I chose these for you. If they aren’t are your size or not your taste, please let me know.

What's surprising is that when we zoomed into the picture, we could see the price tag of Rs1,699 intact on the shirt. We wonder if Sonam forgot to discard the price tag. The gift package also included a picture of the Kapoor sisters as young girls.

To be fair, Sonam's letter urged Sharma to let her know if the gift was not according to her size or taste, implying that she could get them replaced.

At the book launch of yesteryear actress Asha Parekh's book, The Hit Girl, Salman Khan had bemoaned how actresses of today don’t share a great camaraderie unlike the actresses of the past. While Khan has a right to have an opinion, Sonam's gesture is evidence that today's actresses do share a cordial relationship with each other.

On the bright side, shopaholics might be glad to know that Rheson apparel doesn't burn a hole in your pocket.
