One of Telugu cinema's biggest hits, 100% Love (2011), which featured Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah in the lead roles, is to be remade in Tamil.
The Tamil version, which is to be directed by M M Chandramouli, will feature GV Prakash in the lead. The yet-to-be-titled film is to be produced by director B Sukumar, who also directed the original film in Telugu.
Sources say that the person who has been chosen to direct the Tamil version, Chandramouli, is a film graduate. He has also been a former assistant of Hollywood cinematographer Fred Murphy. In fact, he has worked as a cinematographer in Hollywood movies such as Backwaters (2006) and Natasha (2016).
Another cinematographer Dudley, who is known for his work in Chennai Express (2013), Dilwale (2015) and Singham (2011), will be the cameraman for the film which is to be shot in London.
GV Prakash, apart from playing the male lead, will also score music for this film. The other members of the cast and crew are being finalised, sources say and add that the film will go on the floors soon.
Prakash made his debut as an actor in 2015 with the horror flick, Darling, and has soon racked up quite a number of projects. The composer will also be seen in upcoming films like Ayngaran, Naachiyar and Kuppathu Raja.
