The female lead of Rendavathu Aattam, a film in which actor Sarath Kumar plays a cop, has been finalised.
The makers say that actress Lakshmi Priyaa has been finalised to play the female lead in the film, which is being directed by Prithvi Aditya.
The film, a crime thriller revolves around an incident that happens during a night show. The actress is also reported to play a cop in the film. However, reports suggest that the actress will not be playing a romantic interest to Sarath Kumar in the film.
The film is expected to go on the floors this month. The thriller is adapted from a novel written by crime writer, Rajesh Kumar.
"Lakshmi Priyaa plays a young cop who gets an opportunity to associate with a senior cop, Sarath sir, on a crime investigation case. Through her intelligence, energy and attitude, she helps Sarath solve the case. Her character is very convincing and I'm sure that with the type of dynamism she can bring into the role, this character will be the most discussed in the near future," said director Prithivi with confidence.
