Mom poster: Sridevi faces off with onscreen daughter

Sridevi's upcoming film Mom has already caught the attention of the audience for its rivetting characters. The film, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna, revolves around a mother's indefatigable fight to find her daughter. The latest poster, though, brings to light the conflict between the very same mother daughter.

The poster features the first appearance of Sajal Ali, who plays Sridevi's daughter in the film.

Back to back with each other, the two actors seem to symbolise the conflict in ideas present within the character. The questioning tagline of 'Love??' adds to the intrigue surrounding the poster. The fearful look of Ali is also a contrast to the determined, fierce looking Sridevi on the other side. The poster seems to hint at the conflict between the mother and daughter, which would lead in to the more crucial events in the film.

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is also produced by Sridevi and husband, Boney Kapoor. It is set to be released on 14 July in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
