Neil Nitin Mukesh to play villain in Prabhas’s Saaho?

After the mammoth success of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), there is a lot of anticipation for its lead actor Prabhas’s next film, Saaho. The teaser of the Telugu movie was attached with Baahubali 2 and was appreciated. 

Apart from Prabhas, the makers haven’t disclosed the rest of the cast. But if reports are to be believed, the makers have roped in Hindi film actor Neil Nitin Mukesh for the role of the antagonist. However, there hasn’t been any official announcement. 

Neil has played a villain twice in his career in Sooraj Barjatya’s Salman Khan-starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) and Bejoy Nambiar’s Wazir (2016) with Amitabh Bachchan. 

A publication quoted a source saying, “After Prabhas, Neil was the first artiste to be signed for Saaho. Also, so far, he’s the only member of the cast besides Prabhas. He has a powerful role.” 

The hunt for the leading actress opposite Prabhas is still on though. So far, Anushka Shetty, Shraddha Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been speculated to play the role. There were also reports earlier about Kapoor charging a bomb for the role. 

Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho will be dubbed in Hindi, just like both the Baahubali movies.
