Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem-starrer Dobaara – See Your Evil is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood horror film, Oculus. The makers had organised a special screening of the film for Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy, the director and producer of Oculus.
The two of them are highly impressed with Prawaal Raman’s Hindi adaptation of their film.
In an official statement, Flanagan said, “I just had a chance to see Dobaara and I thought it was fantastic! The cast is wonderful across the board. Prawaal did an amazing job in making this film. It’s been a real honour to be able to see it.”
In fact, he also feels that Raman should remake all his films. “I hope Prawaal gets to adapt all my films. He can have all of them!” he added.
Macy echoed a similar sentiment. “I am thrilled to see the end result. It's real pleasure to see such great creative choices being made that enhanced it and made it accessible to a whole new audience,” he said.
Releasing on 2 June, Dobaara is a rare film where real life siblings (Qureshi and Saleem) are seen seen playing reel ones.
Another film that will see a real siblings play reel life siblings later this year is Haseena – The Queen Of Mumbai, which stars Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhant Kapoor.
