Hindi Medium to be released on 19 May, averts clash with Meri Pyaari Bindu

Competition is not good, especially if it is going to be a three-way battle. Keeping best interests in mind, the makers of Hindi Medium have shifted the release date of their film by a week. The Irrfan Khan-starrer that was earlier set to compete with Yash Raj Films' Meri Pyaari Bindu and Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar 3 on 12 May, will now be released on 19 May.

While the clash with Meri Pyaari Bindu and Sarkar 3 has been averted, Hindi Medium will now compete with Arjun and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Half Girlfriend.

Hindi Medium is a film about a Delhi couple and their fixation to get their daughter admitted to an English medium school. Directed by Saket Chaudhary, the films stars Khan and Pakistani actress Saba Qamar in the lead, along with child actor Dishita Sehgal playing their daughter.
