Hrudayantar trailer: Hrithik Roshan makes a blink-and-miss appearance in a sensitive family drama

Vikram Phadnis's directorial debut in Marathi cinema, Hrudayantar, could not have a bigger supporter than Hrithik Roshan. The Krrish (2006) actor is a part of his close friend's project, and was present at the launch of the film's trailer yesterday. 

Starring Subodh Bhave and Mukta Barve, the trailer shows glimpses of a sensitive family drama built around a modern, urban couple. Having grown distant over the years, the couple are on the verge of a divorce when a shocking disease strikes down one of their daughters. The disease and the struggle of helping their child battle it that brings the parents together. The trailer has some sensitive moments with both, Bhave and Barve, showing equal poise and craft to keep your attention. 

With Phadnis' reputation and friendships in the industry, the presence of Manish Paul, Shiamak Davar is almost natural. However, Hrithik Roshan's presence is quite emphatic. When being encouraged to fight the disease, it is Roshan's Krrish who offers inspiration to the young girl. In the end, the sight of an emotional Hrithik Roshan meeting the young child is a touching moment. 

Directed by Vikram Phadnis, Hrudayantar is set to release in theatres on 7 July.
