The first look of actor-director Prabhu Deva's film Gulebagavali was released recently.
The film has been garnering attention as Prabhu Deva has teamed up with director Kalyaan of Kadha Solla Porom fame for this project.
Hansika Motwani, who has worked with Prabhu Deva earlier, plays the heroine in this film, which will also feature Mansoor Ali Khan and actress Revathy in important roles.
Interestingly, this is the first time that Motwani will be acting with Prabhu Deva. Prabhu Deva did not act in the earlier two projects that they worked on together. While he was the director of Engeyum Kadhal, he was the producer of Bogan.
Sources say the film, whose title is the same as that of an old MGR film, will be a black comedy and that it will be made on a big budget. The team also discloses that the unit will fly to Bangkok to shoot a part of the film.
