SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion has taken the country by storm. It has become the one of the few films to have such pan India appeal. So, as expected, the film is creating new box office records.
Along with the protagonist Prabhas, the film’s villain Rana Daggubati too is receiving rave reviews for his portrayal of Bhallaladeva.
An old video of the actor has recently gone viral on social media. After listening to his revelation, his respect among the audience has increased manifolds. It is a clipping from a Kannada chat show where Daggubati has disclosed that he is blind in his right eye.
Not just that, the single eye from which he is able to see was donated to him when he was a kid. While encouraging kids on the show to never give up and fight against obstacles, he said, “Should I tell you one thing, I am blind from my right eye. I see only from my left eye. The one you see is someone else's eye which was donated to me after his death. If I close my left eye, I can see no one.”
The show panel also featured a lady who was visually impaired in one eye. The actor further encouraged the kids saying, “LV Prasad operated on me when I was young. Study well, we will support, be courageous as you have to look after her. Sorrows will go away one day but you have to gear up and keep them happy always.”
Daggubati’s revelation has shocked his large number of fans because in none of his films, including both Baahubali sagas, his impairment is never felt.
