Salman Khan fans now have a new way to announce their allegiance on Twitter. The social media platform has transformed the actor's next film, Tubelight, into a unique character emoji for fans to use. Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan, becomes the first Indian film to receive this unique honour.
The director was certainly ecstatic about the news. Tweeting on the platform, Kabir Khan wrote, 'Happy to announce tht Tubelight becms the FIRST Bollywood film with its own character emoji #TubelightKiEid! @BeingSalmanKhan @TwitterIndia'

The emoji depicts the now iconic pose of Salman's character giving a salute. The emoticon has certainly received some work, and even shows the shoes hanging around Salman's character's neck. The level of attention to detail certainly deserves some credit.
The emoji can be activated every time users tweet or hashtag #Tubelight on their accounts.
Salman tweeted his own message to his fans, saying 'Twitter ko full light kar dega ab'

The other film to create an emoji for its promotions was Aditya Chopra's Befikre (2016). However, the Aditya Chopra film's emoji was a miniature version of the Eiffel Tower, and not a character from the film.
Even Karan Johar had used a similar strategy during the season 5 of Koffee with Karan, with a cup of coffee appearing with every hashtag about the show.
This is not the only gift to fans. The makers of the film are all set to launch the first song of the film 'Sajan Radio' today in Dubai. Salman, who is currently shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai, is expected to make an appearance at the event in Dubai.
Tubelight is set in the 1960s, with the war against China set as a backdrop to the story. The film is inspired from the American movie, Little Boy.
Tubelight also stars Sohail Khan and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu in pivotal roles. The film also has a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan.
Tubelight is scheduled for theatrical release around the Eid weekend this year.
