Box office: Baahubali 2 beats Dangal, becomes the highest Hindi grosser ever

The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion continued its unstoppable ride at the box office even in the second week. The film has now become the highest grossing Hindi film ever by amassing approximately Rs386 crore in this period, as per information shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com. 

With this, it has broken the record of Aamir Khan’s last film, Dangal (2016), which scored Rs374 crore in its lifetime business, which lasted over a month. Baahubali 2, on the other hand, has surpassed this total in just two weeks. Not to forget, it achieved this despite not being a Hindi film. 

The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati-starrer also recorded the highest collections in second week for a Hindi film. This record was also held by Dangal earlier as it earned Rs111.56 crore approximately in its second week. Baahubali 2 has jumped way ahead of that film by minting as much as Rs141 crore in the first 14 days. 

After a brilliant first week, the Rajamouli film was expected to score big in week two as well. But the numbers in the week have surpassed expectations. 

The all-India numbers of the film in all languages are also super impressive. Its grand total now stands at a mammoth Rs775 crore in just two weeks!
