Dhoom 3 (2013) saw Aamir Khan pair up with Katrina Kaif for the first time. Critics weren’t too kind to the film, but Dhoom 3 turned out to be one of biggest blockbusters of all time. Kaif will reunite with Khan and her Dhoom 3 director Vijay Krishna Achara in Thugs Of Hindostan.
Khan made the grand announcement in a short tweet, welcoming Kaif as the last thug in Thugs Of Hindostan.
Directed by Acharya, Thugs of Hindostan is a period film that stars Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. The film also has Fatima Sana Shaikh who played Khan’s daughter in Dangal (2016). Kaif had made her debut with the Bachchan-starrer Boom (2003). She had then worked with Bachchan in Sarkar (2005). Thugs Of Hindostan brings together the three actors under one roof for the first time.
Thugs of Hindostan goes on floors on 1 June and releases in Diwali 2018.
