International singer Justin Bieber's Purpose Tour concert was the talk of the town for weeks. The day came when approximately 45,000 people gathered at DY Patil Cricket Stadium where the concert took place yesterday.
While there were people who found the concert to be great, there were others who were left disappointed. Among them was actress Sonali Bendre. The actress didn’t mince words while expressing her disappointment with the event. In fact, she even went on to describe her experience as a ‘waste of time.’
The Sarfarosh actress wrote on her Twitter page, “Beibered out!!! #concert #growinguptoofast #momduties #purposetour.” She followed it up with, “Biebered out!!! Missed d efficiency of @WizcraftIndia n d personal touch of @WizAndreTimmins #wasteoftime.”
Surprisingly, Andre Timmins, founder of organisers Wizcraft whom she had tagged, gave a positive reply to Sonali saying, “@iamsonalibendre thank you so much for your kind words @WizcraftIndia.”

The much talked about event was also attended by other famous names from the Hindi film fraternity including Sridevi, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Rampal, Raveena Tandon, Malaika Arora, etc. The security arrangement for Bieber was handled by Salman Khan's bodyguard, Shera.
The international singer sang his most popular tracks like 'Baby' and 'Sorry.' He started off with the songs, 'Where Are You Now' and 'Get Used To It.' While speaking to the audience, he happily said, "Tonight's turning out to be one of the best nights of my life." He also promised to be back in India.
But Bendre wasn’t the only one who was disappointed with the event. Bipasha Basu and actor husband Karan Singh Grover walked out of the event after just five minutes. While leaving, Basu told the media, “We didn’t get security with us and it is too crowded so we are leaving.” After a while, she sarcastically wrote on her Instagram page, “All dressed up for nothing Ha ha ha!”
But later on, she tried playing down her disappointment by posting a picture with Grover along with the caption, “So what we could not enjoy at the concert... still it's always fun with you my love. Thank you.”
There was another controversy at the event. A section of audience at the concert felt that Bieber was lip syncing instead of actually singing. Social media went into a tizzy criticising the international star's act.
I've never seen an artist give that many 0 fucks in my life. If you're going 2 lip sync, atleast attempt 2 sync your lips #JustinBieberIndia
