Paresh Rawal has been missing in action since Welcome Back (2015), but the actor has not lost one bit of his comic timing. The trailer of Ashwni Dhir's Guest iin London has the actor playing the loud, uncouth Punjabi uncle who invades the London residence of a young couple. The trailer released today with actor Kartik Aaryan tweeting 'Lo aa gaye mehmaan' on his social media account.

The trailer begins in the middle of a young couple fighting over the arrival of some strange relatives.

Kriti Kharbanda and Kartik Aaryan replace Ajay Devgn and Konkona Sensharma from the first film, to make for a younger and more adventurous pair. The only hurdle to their lovey-dovey life in London is the arrival of relatives played by Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi.

From his first scene in the trailer to the last, Rawal displays the loud, uncouth Punjabi, unlike the Bihari uncle in the first film, with a hilarious touch. His portrayal of a loudmouth Punjabi, who can shut down an escalator with an umbrella, might feel a little stereotyped, but it fits with the character. From peeking in on private moments to farting at dinner, the character is quite the guest to have. Azmi plays the innocent wife of the loudmouthed Rawal, and is an addition that was absent in the first film.

Directed by Dhir, Guest iin London is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 16 June.
