Kangana Ranaut seems to have fallen out of favour with her Tanu Weds Manu (2011) director Aanand Rai.
As per a report in tabloid Mumbai Mirror, Rai is reportedly upset with the actress for telling people in the industry that he is penning a script for her. Apparently, Rai is said to be so miffed with the actress that he has reportedly decided never to work with her again.
Rai has four productions this year, but he is directing one of them. Rai will be producing Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. He will be directing and producing a film with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. There’s no word on his other projects in the pipeline though.
Rai didn’t revert to our calls or text messages.
Ranaut has worked with Rai in the two Tanu Weds Manu films. Her latest flick Rangoon has tanked at the box office, barely getting Rs19 crore nett in its first week domestic collections.
Ranaut will be seen in Hansal Mehta’s next Simran.
