Hrishitaa Bhatt might have been missing from the limelight for a long time now, but she has no reason to complain. The actress tied the knot with a UN diplomat, Anand Tiwari, in New Delhi. The actress and her beau got married in a simple ceremony in the presence of their relatives on 4 March. The actress was last seen in the Pulkit Samrat-Yami Gautam starrer, Junooniyat in 2016.
In a statement released to the press, the actress said, "We kept it a low-key affair with just family and friends at the celebration. Since our families wanted the wedding to be a low-key affair we mutually decided to keep it private. We seek your blessings on embarking this new journey of our lives."

In the recently released pictures, the actress looks resplendent in an orange lehenga by designer Preeti Singhal, while the groom wore a simple white sherwani. The couple also had a simple mehendi function in Mumbai before the wedding. The newly married couple will host a reception on 10 March in Mumbai, followed by a separate reception for Bhatt's friends and colleagues from the film industry.
Good luck to the actress on her new journey!
