Leaked! Neil Nitin Mukesh's look as Sanjay Gandhi in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Indu Sarkar

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has stunned the Hindi movie fans through his look as Sanjay Gandhi. He plays the late Indian politician in Madhur Bhandarkar’s next, Indu Sarkar. Neil looks identical to Sanjay Gandhi and the leaked picture is taking the internet and social media by storm. 

The film is based on the emergency which was imposed by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975 and its consequences. Actress Supriya Vinod plays Indira Gandhi in the film. Interestingly, she has been playing the same character for the last few years in writer-director Ratnakar Matkari’s Marathi play, Indira. 

In the leaked picture, Neil and Supriya have recreated the iconic photograph of Indira Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi. In fact, the recreated shot appears close to reality, especially Neil’s look as Sanjay Gandhi. 

Indu Sarkar is Bhandarkar’s next film after the failure of Calendar Girls (2015). In fact, a lot is riding on the film for the filmmaker because he hasn’t given a hit in a long time. Neil’s last film was Wazir (2016) but he only had a cameo in it. His last noticeable role was in Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015).
