Karan Johar shares picture of his kids' nursery designed by Gauri Khan

While he promised that he would try and keep his children away from the film industry, Johar is certainly opting for his close friends' help when it comes to raising them. The director shared a new picture of the flashy new nursery for his children, Roohi and Yash, designed by Gauri Khan. Tweeting 'its my paradise', Johar put up a picture of himself and Khan posing beside a spacious looking nursery. 

Khan's popularity as the industry's favourite interior designer seems to be on the rise. She recently designed Ranbir Kapoor's new house, with the actor publicly thanking her for the efforts later.

As for Johar's nursery, the elegance and white space is typical of the aesthetic taste of the director. In addition, the cribs for the children have some wonderful paintings, including characters like Winne the Pooh, keeping with the childish element of the design. 

The twins, who Johar revealed were born prematurely, were introduced to some of his closest friends on Thursday. Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan were some of the industry friends who paid the director and his kids a visit. 

Johar's recent surrogate parentage did not come easy. The director revealed how he was 'terrified' when he heard that the kids were born premature and weighed less than 1.5 kgs at birth. 

It looks like the dad Johar has his work cut out.
