Ranveer Singh's fashion, or costumes, have been the talk of the town in recent days. The actor has acquired quite the reputation as an oddball for his fashion choices. However, his recent appearance at a recording studio might have something to do with his role in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy.

The actor was spotted looking every bit the rapper for Akhtar's next film. The actor was recording at a studio in Bandra, with singer Anushka Manchanda. He posted a picture on his Twitter feed, saying 'Make a mixxx'

Dressed in a multi-coloured graffiti-laden cap, and an all-black attire, the actor seemed to carry the attitude necessary for playing a rapper from the streets of Mumbai. Akhtar's Gully Boy is based on the real life stories of rappers like Divine and Naezy who rose from the streets of Mumbai to become pioneers in the Indian rap arena.

The shoot for the film is set to begin in November, as the actor is still to shoot some parts of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much delayed Padmavati.
