Sushant Singh Rajput took to Twitter on Sunday to unveil the first look of his next film, Romeo Akbar Walter. The actor, who last starred in the blockbuster biopic, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), is playing a spy in Robbie Grewal's film.
The film is reportedly set during the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. Rajput is speculated to play a spy who infiltrates the Pakistani spy ring and gathers important information. The film is directed by Grewal, who last directorial venture was the Aamna Sharif-Aftab Shivdasani starrer, Aloo Chat (2009).
The film is scheduled for theatrical release in 2018. Romeo Akbar Walter is produced by Kyta Productions, in association with VA Film Company and Red Ice Films.
Apart from this, Rajput will also be seen in Dinesh Vijan's Raabta and Tarun Mansukhani's Drive later this year. The actor is also working on Takadum, alongside Parineeti Chopra.
