Deepika Padukone and Neetu Kapoor bond to make a heartwarming picture

Neetu Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have a lot more in common than just Ranbir Kapoor, it seems. While Padukone was accepting the Global Icon award at the HT Most Stylish 2017, she spent some candid moments with the Kapoor matron. The picture of the two giggling together went viral online, with fans wondering if the ice between Padukone and Ranbir's mother has finally thawed. 

The snap posted by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee certainly has got the Twitterati curious. It was not the only candid moment of the evening either. Seated with Rani Mukerji, Anushka Sharma and Neetu, Padukone certainly got together with the girl gang. Pictures of her fawning over Mukerji add to the growing camaraderie. Mukerji, who is preparing for her return to the big screen in Hichki, was seen in deep conversation with the Bajirao Mastani actress. 

It looked like quite the event with Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Sharma et al making their presence felt. 

Yet, it was the picture of Neetu and Padukone that really stole the show.
