Have we ever heard an actor criticise another’s film at a special screening? The answer is no and so an actor praising another's film can be taken with a pinch of salt. However, genuine praise can be gauged by the words an actor chooses. Alia Bhatt was pretty honest and generous in her praise of Anushka Sharma's Phillauri.
The Badrinath Ki Dulhania actress watched the film yesterday and was blown by it. She was particularly moved by the performance of Anushka and Diljit Dosanjh.
Calling Anushka an inspiration, Bhatt tweeted the following:
#Phillauri is such a lovely unique film!!!With such honest performances from the whole cast!!!! @AnushkaSharma you are such an inspirationâ¤ï¸ÂÂÂ

Anushka replied to Bhatt's tweet with a heartfelt thank you.

Meanwhile, Bhatt was really touched by the humility and simplicity of Dosanjh.
And as usual @diljitdosanjh totally wins you over with his simplicity and charm! The film leaves you with a beautiful thought and message! â¨
