After scoring another hit in the form of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Alia Bhatt will be taking a break for around six months. She will then start shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s superhero flick, Dragon, in which she is cast opposite Ranbir Kapoor, who plays the central character.
In an interview with a news agency, the actress said Dragon is unlike any other superhero movie. “There will be lots of action around me. I don’t think I will be beating up anybody. It is not a typical superhero film. It’s a sci-fi, supernatural film,” she said.
When she revealed her characterization, it left us a little confused. Stressing the fact that the film is a love story, she said, “Ayan said there is no Ranbir and Alia there in the film, there is just one character, it is that tighter love story.”
This is not all. Bhatt highlighted that there would be extensive preparations but not on the acting part. “There will be some extensive prep work not for the acting part much but for the world, it’s a new world. There is no dialect or anything that we have to learn,” she said, adding to the confusion.
Apart from Dragon, Bhatt has signed up for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, where she will be paired opposite Ranveer Singh.
