Here’s how Amit Sadh got a role in Sarkar 3

Buzz has it that Amit Sadh was recommended for Sarkar 3 by Amitabh Bachchan. While Bachchan has returned as Subhash Nagre, Sarkar 3 boasts of a lot of new additions to the cast. Sadh will be playing Nagre’s (Bachchan) grandson Shivaji.

According to sources, Bachchan was confident that Sadh was best suited for the role as the younger actor is known to be moody and volatile and that worked for his on-screen persona too.

Meanwhile, the actor said in  a statement, "I was extremely pumped when I got a call from Ram Gopal Varma sir's office to play the character. Sarkar 3 is one of the most exciting films I've worked on! I am fortunate enough to have worked with Mr Bachchan and it has been a great learning experience."

Shivaji is the son of Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon), who was killed by his own brother Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan), after the the former tried killing their father. There's also buzz that Sadh's character is inspired by Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray.

Sarkar 3 is set to be released to be released on 7 April.
