Salman Khan is scheduled to start shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai, but he is already preparing for his second film. The actor is taking dancing lessons from Remo D'Souza for the director's next dance drama.
In an interview to a daily in January, the actor had mentioned the difficulty of playing a dancer. He wrote, "And in my next film, I’m playing the father to a 13-year-old girl. It’s a film about dancing. Like the Hollywood Step Up franchise. I’m going to be a properly trained dancer. You know how painful that is?"
The actor is reportedly playing a professional dancer and the father of a 13-year-old girl in the film. The actor had last played father to a young Aditya Narayan in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai (1998). It is the first time Khan has attempted a dance drama, but the actor is leaving no stone unturned for his preparation. He has already started classes with director D'Souza to get his moves right.
In a report, D'Souza said that the actor was on his way to losing weight, to play a lean professional dancer. He said, "Salman is building his core strength right now so as to build a supple and lean body. He needs to lose weight, become lithe and agile like dancers usually are. We haven’t given him any hardcore dance steps yet, just the basic steps. He is undergoing training with my team. They are monitoring his diet and workout exercises. He is following it through. Each step requires a muscle for its movement and Salman is learning to use them accordingly."
Khan has already wrapped up with Kabir Khan's Tubelight, and has to complete the shooting of Tiger Zinda Hai directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
