Fukrey Returns to release 8 December: See poster

The makers of Fukrey Returns have announced the release date of the film through the first poster of the film. It will hit the theatres on 8 December this year. The film has been in the news after it was announced long back. And now it finally has a release date. 

Also known as Fukrey 2 earlier, the film is a sequel to the 2013 film Fukrey. It starred Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadda, Manjot Singh, Vishakha Singh and Priya Anand. The same cast will be seen in the second film. 

The poster was also shared by producer Farhan Akhtar on Twitter with the caption, ‘Oh teri! Hani, Choocha, Zaffar, Lali & Bholi Punjaban are back for some more Fukrapanti.. coming 8th Dec. #FukreyReturns.” 

Fukrey Returns is directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, who had also helmed the first film. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s banner, Excel Entertainment. 

Fukrey was the story of four slackers, played by Samrat, Fazal, Sharma and Singh, who try to earn big through shortcut methods. Richa, Vishakha and Priya’s characters also get involved in their mission. 

The basic plot of Fukrey Returns is currently under wraps. But what we know is that all actors would be playing the same characters as the first film.
