Salman Khan begins shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai in Austria


The sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger gets going in Europe; Khan poses with a few fans in Austria.

Having wrapped up Kabir Khan’s Tubelight, Salman Khan had taken a few weeks off before flying to Austria to begin shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, that was also directed by Kabir Khan. While Salman Khan returns as the secret agent Tiger, the sequel is being directed by Sultan (2016) director Ali Abbas Zafar.

Zafar had tweeted a few days earlier about the shooting beginning in snow-clad Austria. The filmmaker posted a video from his car today.

While no word has come from Salman Khan yet, the actor posed with a couple of fans in Austria.

Katrina Kaif, too, returns as Pakistani intelligence agent Zoya. Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal is the new entrant to the franchise.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Tiger Zinda Hai is scheduled to be released on 22 December 2017. Ek Tha Tiger was a huge commercial success with a nett domestic collection of Rs199 crore.
