Aamir Khan has denied that he has signed Salute, the biopic of astronaut Rakesh Sharma. It was reported earlier that he had signed the film and would commence for it after he winds up Thugs Of Hindostan.
“The only film I am doing right now is Thugs (Of Hindostan). I have not signed any other film,” Khan said at a media interaction on his 52nd birthday at his office in Mumbai.

The Dangal actor also revealed when Thugs Of Hindostan would go on floors. “We will start shooting in June,” he said.
Khan is excited for the film as he will share screen space with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. “It was always my dream to work with him,” Khan added.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who had earlier helmed Dhoom 3 (2013) with Khan.
Khan cut a couple of cakes in the presence of the media. When asked what he did when the clock struck 12 am, he said, “I started reading a book at 10:30-11 pm. After reading for about 15-20 minutes, I slept. So, I didn’t do anything at 12. I was asleep and was having a good time."
The actor will celebrate his birthday later in the day with his family and close friends. This year, the list of guests include wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita. His last film Dangal was based on their heroics in the sport of wrestling.
“I am very happy that Geeta, Babita and Mahavir ji will be visiting to share my happiness,” Khan said.
