Even as fans of Baahubali prepare for the final film's trailer release on 16 March, the makers of the film have given them a glimpse of the future. In a newly released teaser, Prabhas' character, Shivudu, looks bloodied and battered but intent on revenge.
The director had previously announced that the trailer for Baahubali: The Conclusion will release on 16 March across theatres and online platforms. The teaser offers a fleeting glimpse into what fans can expect from the trailer. Set in the period after Katappa's assassination of Baahubali, the film will portray the conclusion of SS Rajamouli's blockbuster epic. From the 12-second teaser, it appears that the trailer will be as action packed as the first film itself.
While the sight of a bloodied Prabhas is in keeping with his character as a warrior, it is the symbol that appears on the side that evokes curiosity. Shaped like an almond, the symbol seems to be etched on a pillar that Shivudu is standing by. It also raises the question of who is beating Prabhas' character, or whether he has been captured.
The trailer of Baahubali: The Conclusion is set to launch on 16 March.
The film is directed by SS Rajamouli and stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia and Nasser. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 28 April.
