Earlier this year, the news of Salman Khan teaming up with Akshay Kumar for a film sent fans of both into a tizzy. However, the rumours of Khan losing interest in the project poured cold water on the news. In a recent tweet, Khan has clarified that the project is well and truly on.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, Khan wrote:
Don't follow rumors . follow me . ek baar jo maine commitment kar di toh phir...... vry much doing film with @akshaykumar

Kumar confirmed the news as well, by replying to Khan's tweet.

The film is being co-produced by Karan Johar and is slated for theatrical release next year. The film is to be directed by Anurag Singh, who is known for the 2012 hit Punjabi film, Jatt and Juliet.
This will mark the second collaboration between Khan and Kumar, who were previously seen together in the 2004 hit, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
Khan will also be seen in Kabir Khan's Tubelight, which will release in theatres later this year, and Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif.
