Finally, Imtiaz Ali's untitled film with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma has a title. The film will be called Jab Harry Met Sejal. For several months now, the film's lack of a title had created a sense of mystery around it. Several names were thrown around, including the intital working title of The Ring, but it looks like Ali is now set on calling it Jab Harry Met Sejal.
With the shooting for the film completed, and its release scheduled in August, the lack of a title seemed a little confusing for fans. But now, the team has officially released the posters of the film carrying the title.
Featuring the lead pair, the poster sees Sharma sliding down a staircase rail, while Khan's genial looking guide following her. The tagline of the film 'What you seek is seeking you' adds a philosophical touch, which is in line with many of Ali's romances. Add to it the theme of travel, a signature of Ali's style, and it makes for a fascinating film.
The film has been shot across several popular travel destinations in Europe like Amsterdam, Prague, with some portions shot back home in Punjab. The trailer for the film will be attached to Salman Khan's upcoming Tubelight. A theatrical promo is also expected to release next week on 19 or 20 June.
The release date of the film had also been under scrutiny after reports emerged that Khan wished to postpone it to avert the clash with Akshay Kumar's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. However, for now the release date for Ali's film remains fixed at 4 August.
Jab Harry Met Sejal is jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Window Seat Films. The film will be released on 4 August.
