Priyanka Chopra joined fashion brand, GAP, in a commercial to help promote inclusiveness and optimism across the world. The campaign, Bridging the Gap, celebrates the spirit of optimism and equality that is a dire necessity in the modern world. The video is directed by editor in chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful.

Speaking about the campaign in a video, Chopra said she was very 'excited' about being a part of the project. The Baywatch actress joined 14 stars including rapper Wiz Khalifa, actress Christine Brinkley, activist Adwoa Aboah, designer Alex Welk, champion fencer Miles Chamley-Watson and models Maria Borges, Fernanda Ly, Lineisy Montero, Ellen Rosa, Casil McArthur and Jasmine Sanders in a star-studded advertisment for the brand.
In a behind-the-scenes video, Chopra spoke about the need to 'bridge the gaps' present between cultures, saying, "There are so many gaps in the world that need to be filled. We, in this generation, and our children going forward, need to have a relatively evolved sense of thinking, which goes beyond race."
The actress goes on to add that 'celebrating our differences doesn't necessarily mean that we need to be different. Celebrating our differences is to be proud of where you come from, but engulfing other people who are different than you into your world."
The actress is also singing quite the iconic song in the commercial. In fact, the entire commercial is a take off on the video of 1980s pop group, Boney M's 'Sunny'. The song witnesses the coming together of people from diverse backgrounds and races on a single platform.
Chopra certainly had fun singing the song. She wrote on her Instagram, "Thank you @edward_enninful, for giving me such a "Sunny" song to sing... actually singing this ICONIC song myself was amazing ! Shoutout to the one and only Boney M and Bobby hebb ! Loved singing this for the video with all these amazing people! I hope this inspires a deeper connect with one another. @Gap #Ad"
The actress is set to arrive in Mumbai this week, but she just keeps chalking up milestones on her map.
