Rajinikanth to return to Chennai after first schedule of Kaala Karikaalan

Superstar Rajinikanth, who is at present shooting in Mumbai for Pa Ranjith's gangster flick, Kaala Karikaalan, is expected to finish his portions in the first schedule today.

Sources close to the unit of the film say that Rajinikanth will return to Chennai tomorrow.

The second schedule of the film is in Chennai, where the makers have erected a set that resembles Mumbai’s Dharavi. As the second schedule is a few days away, sources hint that the superstar might meet some more of his fans before the schedule begins.

The film, which has music by Santosh Narayanan, camera by Murali and editing by Sreekar Prasad, will have Huma Qureshi playing the female lead.

According to a tweet by the actress, she plays a character called Zareena in the film. The film has a huge star cast that includes Anjali Patil, Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani and Sakshi Aggarwal.

Kaala Karikaalan is directed by Pa Ranjith, and produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films.
