After issuing a denial, why did Sushant Singh Rajput go out for dinner with Sara Ali Khan?

Sushant Singh Rajput has the potential to be a champion at poker. Not too long ago, during the Raabta promotions Rajput was asked whether he was doing a film with Saif Ali Khan’s daughter, Sara. The actor laughed it away saying that the only projects he had at hand were Chanda Mama Door Ke and another project called RAW.

If that is indeed the case, then the recent pictures of the Raabta actor dining out with Sara Ali Khan and her mother Amrita Singh raise a number of questions. Another member present at the dinner was director Abhishek Kapoor. The pictures confirm speculations that Sara Ali Khan is set to make her debut with Sushant Singh Rajput in Kapoor’s film, titled Kedarnath.

Abhishek Kapoor was also spotted at the location, possibly to discuss his projects with his leads. One shouldn’t be surprised at the presence of Amrita Singh. After all, she has been taking an active interest in her daughter’s career. There had been murmurs earlier of Sara making her debut with Hrithik Roshan. Karan Johar was tipped to launch Sara as well with rumours suggesting that she could be part of Johar’s Student of the year 2.

The visuals at the Mumbai restaurant put an end to all these speculations. The young actress does have the looks, but also has the permission of her parents to finally join the film industry. The 24-year-old is a graduate from Columbia University, New York, and looks to be ready for the limelight.
