The duet is a short, but sweet romantic number where Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal work their magic again.

A few days ago, the makers of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha had released the 'Hans Mat Pagli' solo song by Sonu Nigam. While the lyrics, music and Nigam's singing were pleasing, the visuals of Keshav (Akshay Kumar) clicking pictures of an unsuspecting Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar) glorified stalking.
Why Akshay Kumar's 'Hans Mat Pagli' is a sign of regression not to be entertained
Today, the makers released a duet with Shreya Ghoshal joining Nigam.
It looks like all the stalking has finally helped win over Jaya who has lost her heart to Keshav. The song is barely a minute-and-a-half, is a fitting extension to the solo version.
Writers and lyricists Siddharth-Garima have penned a simple and pleasant romantic track. Ghoshal chips in more in the short track. Vickey Prasad scores with his delightful contemporary music. What works for the song, though, are the two outstanding singers. Like Nigam, Ghoshal, too, has what is called thairaav in Hindi. There’s a consummate ease with which the duo croon.
Nigam and Ghoshal have always made for a formidable pair having given us some great numbers such as 'Teri Ore' from Singh is Kinng (2008), 'Pal Pal Har Pal' from Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006) and 'Sajan Ghar Aana Tha' from Aryan: Unbreakable (2006). The 'Hans Mat Pagli' track pales in comparison to the above, but it is still an enjoyable romantic number.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha will be released on 11 August.
