Of the six Hindi films released on Friday, only Dobaara: See Your Evil managed an 'exceptional' nett collection of Rs25 lakh.

The crowd of Hindi films released over the weekend does not seem to have made any impression on the audience. None of the films made any impact at the box office.

The best collection belongs to Prawaal Raman's supernatural thriller, Dobaara: See Your Evil. The film managed a below par count of Rs25 lakh on its first day, according to Boxofficeindia.com. The other films, A Death In The Gunj, Hanumaan Da Damdaar, Dear Maya, Flat 211, and Mirror Game bottomed out despite some positive reviews for the first one, Konkona Sensharma's directorial debut.

Of these, Hanumaan Da Damdaar is expected to have a positive weekend on account of being an animated film for children.

The films continuing their positive run are Hindi Medium and Sachin: A Billion Dreams. The Irrfan Khan-starrer Hindi Medium is already a hit, having notched up Rs42.50 crore nett. Trade analysts are predicting that the film will exceed the benchmark of Rs55 crore.

The collections for Sachin: A Billion Dreams dropped by 80% in the second week, but the film has still managed to collect Rs36.5 crore nett. This is quite an achievement for a film which is not a conventional feature but a documentary-cum-feature.
