Nawazuddin Siddiqui's memoir to be released at Jaipur Literature Festival 2018


Written by journalist and writer, Rituparna Chatterjee, the book will focus on Siddiqui's rise from being a farmer's son to a celebrated actor of the Hindi film industry.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui revealed that his much-awaited memoir will be released at the Jaipur Literature Festival next year. At a media interaction for his upcoming film, Munna Michael, Siddiqui said, "I cannot say when it will come out. It might open at the Jaipur Literature Festival next year."

The memoir was announced in 2016, and the actor had mentioned that "the book will throw light on the person I really am who is confused most of the time."

Written by journalist and writer, Rituparna Chatterjee, the book will focus on Siddiqui's rise from being a farmer's son to a celebrated actor of the Hindi film industry. Speaking about the book at the Spring Fever Festival, Delhi in 2016, the actor had mentioned that the book will have 'anecdotes' and 'memories' from his journey.

At the recent interaction for Munna Michael, the actor refused to speak much about the book, or even reveal his title. However, he said, "We have not exactly decided the name of it. It is written by her, but contains my experiences and my thoughts."

The actor is currently enjoying a purple patch with Munna Michael, Mom, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, ready to release. The actor will be seen as a dancing businessman in Munna Michael, which will be released on 21 July, while he plays an assassin in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, which will be released on 25 August.
