In an unfortunate incident, Telugu actor Ravi Teja's younger brother Bharat died in a road accident in Hyderabad.
Sources close to the actor's family said that the accident took place on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Shamshabad, late on Saturday (24 June) night. The mishap took place when Bharat, who was heading from Shamshabad to Gachibowli, rammed his car into a parked truck on the side of the road.
It may be recalled that the 45-year-old Bharat, who has also acted in a few films, was arrested once by the police for possessing cocaine.
Sources in the industry say that Bharat died on the spot of the accident and that his body was taken to the cremation ground straight from the mortuary. Except for Raghu, who is Ravi Teja's youngest brother, no one else from the family was present at the funeral, they added.
