Shah Rukh Khan's traditional interaction with the media on the ocassion of Eid took place on Monday at Bandra's Taj Land's End hotel in Mumbai. Dressed in a crisp white kurta, the actor spoke about a range of topics from youngest son AbRam's Eidi gifts to daughter Suhana's possible acting career.

Speaking of AbRam, Shah Rukh said the three-year old was very excited about his Eid gifts, and had already asked for them. Last year, AbRam had made an appearance at the press conference alongside Shah Rukh. The actor added, "Everyday is Eid for AbRam, as he gets new toys almost every day."

The actor also revealed that he has been teaching the little one some new stories. Shah Rukh said, "I have been reading the Mahabharata for one-and-a-half years. I like the stories in it. I narrate them for AbRam in a very exciting way." However, he averred from speaking about introducing his children to the traditions. Shah Rukh said, "Tradition, religion, these are very personal things. I truly believe children, everybody should be left free to learn it themselves."

Talking about the celebrations, Shah Rukh said that while he was never a big foodie, he loved to cook for his children. He said, "I want to cook for my kids today, may be pasta! I only know how to make Italian food. I am not a foodie; whatever I get I eat. I eat Biryani that come’s from Salman’s house."

The 51-year-old actor recently completed 25 years in the film industry. Speaking about the achievement, he said, "It is half of my life. I can only be thankful for the good wishes I have received all these years."

The actor also spoke about his upcoming film with Aanand L Rai, where he will be seen playing a dwarf. Without letting out too much about the film, the actor said, "My film with Aanand L Rai is technically very challenging. A lot of people said that what are we making this time is very new."

While the actor's career has been going strong, there is a growing buzz around his children's (Aryan and Suhana) interest in the field. The recent public appearances of the youngsters have also led to the feeling that they are ready to make their acting debuts. However, Shah Rukh laid to rest such stories by saying 'there is a long way to go.' He said, "My children will first have to finish their studies. In my house, a person has to at least be a graduate or they won't be allowed to enter the house."

He added, "Suhana is still in Class 11. So she has five years of studies left. Aryan has four years left. If Suhana wants to be an actor, then she will study to be an actor. So there is a long long way to go."

The Dilwale star also suggested that they are not taking her (Suhana) out 'so that people will notice her and make her an actress.'
