Mom makers unveiled the second trailer of the film today (23 June) and like the first one, it stands out for its intensity. The new trailer takes the mystery quotient a few notches higher.

What you see is an angrier and more frustrated Sridevi. The seasoned actress grips you with her intimidating look and dialogue delivery. A startled Dayashankar Kapoor’s (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) expressions speak a lot.

The fast moving visuals give you no time to decipher what’s really going on in the life of Sridevi’s character.

Main feel kar sakta hoon joh aap feel kar rahi,” says DK with a lisp. But the Sridevi shoots back saying no one knows what she's feeling.

This dialogue has been the hallmark of the two trailers as Mom continues to grip you with its suspense.

Kya chilla rahe thay tum log? Bula apni maa ko, aagayi uski maa" (What were you people screaming? 'Call your mother'. Her mother has arrived) is another dialogue that adds to the intimidating characteristics of Sridevi's character. Who is Sridevi threatening?

We see very little of Akshaye Khanna's character, deepening the mystery around his role.

Director Ravi Udyawar deserves full credit for carving out a thrilling, gripping trailer. The second trailer also scores for its riveting background score.

As a viewer, you’d be itching to unravel the world of Mom. The film is set to be released on 7 July. Watch the trailer below.
