The dialogue promo from Karan Anshuman's Inside Edge has Richa Chadda channeling her innner star. The actress plays a major role as the film star-turned-cricket team owner in the webseries based on the murky world of cricket league management.
In the video, Chadda declares 'I am a superstar' to an amused Vivek Oberoi's big shot businessman as she swears to stay in control of her team. The webseries, directed by Anshuman is being produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment.
Chadda plays the role of Zarina Malik, a successful film star and owner of the cricket team — Mumbai Mavericks. While the trailer certainly shows shades of the billion dollar IPL tournaments, the acting by Chadda is what catches your attention.
The webseries has already gathered some buzz on the internet prior to its release on Amazon Prime on 10 July.
