Nargis Fakhri has sung the Punjabi chorus of a song crooned by Indo-Canadian singer Parichay, reported Filmfare magazine. According to a source quoted by the magazine, the Czech Republic-born model and actress took 100 retakes to get the song right.

Titled 'Habitaan Vigaad Di', the song also features noted rapper Jason D Harrow better known as Kardinal Offishall.

Filmfare quoted a source as saying, “To give the song an East-meets-West flavour, the team brought mainstream Canadian rap-legend Kardinal on-board to record and film with Nargis and Parichay. For the main chorus line, she gave 100 takes because she couldn't get the Punjabi lyrics right. She made sure to learn the correct pronunciation of every word from Parichay."

Parichay posted this picture on his Instagram account:

Fakhri has struggled to cement her place in Bollywood since making her debut in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar (2011). Post her second film Madras Cafe (2013), Fakhri has largely done cameo roles. She was last seen in Banjo (2016).
