The title of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming film, which is being temporarily referred to as Vijay 61 at the moment, will be disclosed along with the first look of the film tomorrow (21 June) at 6 pm, the producers of the film, Thenanadal Studios, announced today.
The move to release the first look and title tomorrow seems to have been a pre-planned one as Vijay celebrates his birthday tomorrow.
The film has huge expectations riding on it as the bilingual, which happens to be Thenandal Studio's 100th film, has a number of top stars working on it.
Written and directed by Atlee, the film has music by AR Rahman and features Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menon, SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu and Sathyan among others.
Sources say the team has spent a huge amount of money on the film, a substantial portion of which has been filmed in Europe.
The film, which will have its audio released in August, is scheduled to be released in October.
