Back in New York, Priyanka Chopra quietly starts shooting for A Kid Like Jake

Priyanka Chopra has played a spy in a couple of films, and seems to have learnt from the secretive nature of those characters. The actress flew out of Mumbai on 13 June and took a flight to Prague to do a mysterious shoot. While we were still wondering what the trip to the European city was all about, Chopra hopped on to another flight and headed straight to work on her next film with Jim Parsons, A Kid Like Jack. 

The actress was spotted on the sets of the film in Brooklyn, New York, on 20 June.

The film is based on Daniel Pearle's bestselling Lincoln Center play, A Kid Like Jake. Other than Chopra, the film stars Parsons, Claire Danes, Octavia Spencer, Ann Dowd, Michaela Watkins. The story revolves around the life of Alex (Danes) and Greg Wheeler (Parsons), and their son, Jake, who prefers Cinderella over GI Joes. The sensitive film about gender stereotypes is being directed by Silas Howard, one of the few transgender directors in Hollywood.

Chopra was spotted shooting for the film in a bright orange dress. The actress is speculated to play Amal, a newly single mom trying to understand the complex school system while struggling with her own social life.

Parsons, The Big Bang Theory star, was also spotted at the shoot. The setting for the shoot looks pretty relaxed, and feels like an outdoor picnic or get together for friends and family. 

Danes was also spotted at the shoot, and seemed to be enjoying herself. In all, the cast looked pretty relaxed for the shoot. 

Chopra arrived in New York on the weekend and was welcomed by her cute pooch Diana at the airport. The adorable pictures were all over the internet.

Other than A Kid Like Jake, Chopra is also on board for Isn't It Romantic, a romantic comedy starring Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth. The movie will go on floors this July. 

She already has made an impact overseas. Now, Chopra is in the mood to conquer it.
