Manoj Bajpayee turns Sidharth Malhotra’s army mentor in Aiyaary: See picture

The movie seems to be another patriotic saga by Neeraj Pandey.

Neeraj Pandey’s directorial Aiyaary recently went on floors. The film stars an unusual pairing of Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra. The first picture from the shoot of the film, featuring both the actors, has been released by the makers.

Aiyaary recently went on floors in Jammu and Kashmir. The film sees Bajpayee and Malhotra play army officers. According to the latest information released by the makers, the Student Of The Year actor plays Bajpayee’s protege in the film.

The new still from the movie shows both actors dressed in army uniform. They are standing against the backdrop of some picturesque snow-peaked mountains. Malhotra and Bajpayee are seen sharing a light moment as both are in splits.

From the names written on their uniforms, Bajpayee plays a character named Ashay Singh. The name on Malhotra’s uniform isn’t visible properly. Only his surname, which is Bakshi, can be seen.

This is the fourth time that Bajpayee is starring in Pandey’s production after Special 26 (2013), Saat Uchakkey (2016) and Naam Shabana (2017). Aiyaary is the second time that Pandey is directing him after Special 26. On the other hand, this is Malhotra’s first outing with Pandey.

Aiyaary is all set to release on Republic Day (26 January) 2018.
