Salman Khan blackbuck case: Court rejects prosecution plea to summon doctor

What can be called a big boost for Salman Khan in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, the Jodhpur court today rejected the prosecution's plea to summon the doctor who did the post portem of the animal, according to a report by ANI. The next hearing will be held on 6 July.
In the last hearing on 26 January, Khan had categorically denied that he killed the blackbuck. The actor was asked 60 odd questions. He'd spoken few words mostly saying ‘galat’ (not true) to most of the queries that were thrown at him.
Only the first forensic report of Dr Nepalia saying that the animal died of 'natural causes' was true and the rest of the evidence is false," Salman Khan had said then.
The prosecution had filed a plea to summon Dr Nepalia, but the court rejected this plea.
Khan and a few other Bollywood actors were accused of poaching blackbucks on the night of 1 October, 1998 during the shooting of Hindi movie Hum Saath Saath Hain.
On 18th January, the Jodhpur Court had acquitted Khan in the Arms Act violation charge in connection with the poaching case.
Meanwhile, Khan, who has been promoting his next Tubelight, came out strongly against those who don’t hesitate in calling for a war. The actor said that problems can only be solved through dialogues and discussions.
People who order war should be asked to go on war themselves. Take this gun and go to war (they will realise it). It will get over in a day. They will tremble and shake, and will eventually take the route of dialogues and discussions,” Khan told reporters in Mumbai.
