Namastey England: Katrina out, Parineeti in? What about Sonakshi Sinha? 

When filmmaker-producer Vipul Amrtulal Shah announced Namastey England, a sequel to Namastey London (2007), fans of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif would have hoped for a reunion. While Sonakshi Sinha had tweeted last year about doing the film, there are now rumours that Parineeti Chopra is likely to feature in the film.

We tried contacting Shah, but got no response. Similarly, neither Sinha nor Chopra were available for comment.

Buzz has it that Akshay was keen to work with a new actress which tilted the scale in the favour of Chopra, as reported by IndiaTVnews.com.

Chopra is currently filming for Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again. She’s also said to be doing Homi Adajania’s Takadum. Meanwhile, Sinha has been confirmed for Dharma Productions' Ittefaq that will be directed by Rai Chopra’s son Abhay Mehra.

Kaif and Akshay has worked in a few successful films, most notably Singh is Kinng (2008), Welcome (2007). Their last film together was Tees Maar Khan (2010) which tanked at the box office.
